Holy Week & Easter
You can join us this season for these meaningful holy week traditions.
Palm Sunday
March 29
Join us at the St. James Parish House for our annual "Noisy Palm Sunday." We'll wave palm branches with our kids and re-enact the story of Jesus’ fateful last arrival in Jerusalem.
Service at 10am
Easter Sunrise
Sun., April 12
6:30am at The Ring (Bristol Waterfront Park). In this tradition we watch the sun rise and celebrate that Jesus is risen indeed. This service is led by several Bristol churches together each year.
Maundy Thursday
April 9
Join us at the Alloways’ residence for a prayer and footwashing service. In this tradition, we wash one another’s feet just as Jesus washed his disciples’ feet.
6pm Meal | 7pm Service
Easter Brunch
Sun., April 12
8am - 10am at the Alloways’ residence. Enjoy a potluck feast and much rejoicing after the sunrise service. There will be an Easter egg dyeing activity for children of all ages.
Good Friday
April 10
Join us at the Alloways’ residence for a tenebrae (candlelight) service. In this tradition, we remember Jesus going to the cross and the grave.
