Triads are groups of 3 to 4 people that meet weekly for confession, study, and prayer, with the purpose of growing to maturity in Christ.  What does being part of a triad entail?

  • Meet weekly for one hour.
  • No curriculum
    • All one needs is a Bible and the Triad Bookmark to help the group through a simple rhythm of confession, study, and prayer.
  • A common reading plan
    • Triads commit to reading 2-3 chapters of scripture per day set each week by the group.
    • If all members do not finish the reading, the same reading assignment is taken up the following week.
  • A commitment to honesty and growth.
  • Peer-Led
    • A triad coordinator’s job is to call the group, set the tone, and seek Christ. This is it. These are mutual social groups, not leader-based programs.
  • A seasonal commitment
    • Triads commit to meet together for at least 9 months.
    • All members should consider leading a triad when the time is right.
  • Accountability
    • A willingness to stick to these commitments and allow the group to hold you to them.

All aspects of triads can be customized, but we recommend you discuss it with a leader before going outside the lines.  :)
