A community called to be the hands and the feet of Jesus and proclaim the message of Jesus in Bristol, Bucks County, Philadelphia and the world.
Pastor Gary Alloway was quoted in the Bucks County Courier Times, speaking about the crisis facing older suburbs like Bristol, PA.
Gary Alloway has become a big fan of Bristol in the 10 months since he moved to the riverside borough.
“I like that it is a community. I want to see it thrive,” said Alloway, pastor of the Redemption Church of Bristol.
But he’s concerned the town of approximately 10,000 residents could be headed on a downward slope.
“I’m afraid all the energy is being powered into inner cities and outer suburbs and we’re letting (the older) first ring suburbs die,” Alloway said.

This Sunday, February 21, Redemption Church will be meeting in the Sanctuary of St. James since the Parish House is being used by another group.
Also, since we don’t have our own space to use on Wednesdays, we will be having our Ash Wednesday (2/17) service on Sunday (2/21). In a sense it’s “Ash Sunday.” To read more about Ash Wednesday, please visit here. This is a time of reflection and confession as we participate in the Lenten season of the Church.
See you Sunday at 6:30 PM!

We’ll be collecting food in the neighborhood for those in need. Bring comfortable shoes, warm clothes, and a servant’s heart. Lunch to follow.
This is a chance to serve our community and to remind ourselves that we don’t just worship God with our songs and sermons, but with our hands and feet as well.
No evening service.
