Outreach

We believe our lives are outreach and our daily relationships are our most important venue for sharing the hope of Christ.  However, we have outreach programs to meet specific community needs, to build relationships, and to teach us how to live out our faith.

  1. Homeless Outreach: Tuesdays, 3:30-5:30 pm.  A relational outreach and Bible study with the homeless community of Lower Bucks.  Meet at the Dorrance House (214 Dorrance St, 19007) at 3:30 pm or at the camp at 4:00 pm.  Contact Forrest (thesilvertsunami@gmail.com).
  2.  So Others May Eat: The last Wednesday of every month, 6 pm, St. James Parish House (225 Walnut St, 19007).  A community meal for anyone in need.  We set up at 5, serve at 6, and tear down at 7.  We also cook the meal several times a year.  Contact Andrew (astates@princeton.edu).
  3. Second Saturday: A monthly festival of arts and music on Bristol’s historic Mill Street on the second Saturday of every month (5:30 to 8:30 pm).  Second Saturday is currently on hiatus.  If you are interested in reviving it, contact Gary (gary@redemptionbristol.org)
  4. Youth Outreach: A monthly night of pickup basketball and relationship building, starting in February 2012.  Contact Josh Rodriguez (josh.rodriguez299@gmail.com).
  5. Bucks County Community College Outreach: An outreach to the Lower Bucks Campus of BCCC.  Still in development, but starting January 2012.  Contact Gary (gary@redemptionbristol.org).
