Every year, Bristol does a town-wide food drive. On Sunday, we will gather up the food, sort it, and deliver it to the food banks of Bristol. Let’s keep Bristol well-fed!

New Worship Location

Starting this Sunday, January 8, we will be meeting at our new location of Bristol Assembly of God, 343 Wood Street, in Bristol. This is right across the street from our old location and we will still be meeting at 5:05. We believe this space will be a wonderful place for us to grow and flourish as a community. Christmas/New Year’s Worship Schedule

1) Christmas Eve (Saturday December 24)
7 pm at the Well, 1631 Loretta Ave, Feasterville, PA. We’ll have joint service with our sister church. If you can make it and want to help with liturgy/music, let me know.

2) Christmas Day (Sunday, Dec 25)
No service. Enjoy family, hot chocolate, and the gift of Christ.

3) New Year’s Day (Sunday, Jan 1)
Informal service at 214 Dorrance St at 5:05 pm. We’ll have fellowship, bible study, and some simple music.

Longest Night Service – December 21, 5:30 – 6:30 pm

Christmas Cookies and Caroling! December 10

4-6 pm, The Bristol Christmas Tree (Mill & Radcliffe St)
We will serenade anyone who wants to listen with glad tidings of great joy. We’ll also have cookies and hot beverages for passersby. If you would like help make cookies, come to 214 Dorrance St at 12 noon on Saturday. Otherwise, bring instruments, joy, and a spirit of prayer. Christ is born!

Get Involved This Weekend! November 19-20

Redemption has a lot going on this weekend, so pick an activity or two and get involved.
Saturday November 19:
1) Babysitting for Laura – Help our friend Laura so she can go to school. 8:30 – 1 pm, 1606 Farragut Avenue. 267-897-5224
2) Raking Leaves at St. James – Our host church needs some help raking leaves. They have a huge property and an older congregation. We are young and virile. If you can help out, stop on by. 10 am, 225 Walnut.
3) Homeless Movie Night – What do you get when you cross a partner church, a warm meal, a movie, our homeless friends, and you? A good time. 6 pm at The Journey, 139 Trenton Road, Fairless Hills. Contact: Forrest (thesilvertsunami@gmail.com).
Sunday November 20:
Thanksgiving Potluck and Service – It’s our annual Thanksgiving meal and we will give thanks for one another. We will break bread and enjoy fellowship. And then we’ll have a short worship service. Second Saturday – November 12

What is Second Saturday?
1) A night to enjoy Bristol and thank God.
2) A night to enjoy one another. We’ll hang on Mill Street.
3) A chance to be a light in Bristol. Bring games, instruments, beverages or other ways to love on the town.
4) A chance to pray for Bristol. Walk and soak in God’s love for our context.
5) A chance to be a witness in Bristol. Be open. Engage others. See what God does! It’s good.
