Holy Week

This week remember the last week of Jesus’ life. We rejoice over what Jesus did for us. And we renew our calling to live like Jesus. There are plenty of opportunities to take part. Come to what you can. But also take time to reflect and be still with the God who died for you.

  1. Maundy Thursday – We remember the Last Supper and Jesus’ last command – Love one another as I have loved you. There is a 7:30 pm service hosted by Harriman UMC, 1700 Wilson Ave, Bristol.
  2. Good Friday – We remember the crucifixion. 7 pm. At The Well. Set up starts at 5 pm if you can help.
  3. Holy Saturday – We remember Jesus’ time in the grave. Traditionally a day of fasting. If you would like to fast and like company in that, come to Gary’s house at 2 pm. There will be Easter Egg dying. There is also a 7:30 pm hosted by Zion Lutheran, 301 Jefferson Ave, Bristol.
  4. Easter - He is risen! 6:30 am Sunrise Service. At the Lagoon Park in Bristol (Jefferson & Prospect). Redemption is help lead a community worship service. After this, we will join The Well for breakfast (9:30 am) and worship (10:30 am). He is risen indeed! Then take the rest of the day to feast and celebrate.
